Logouri simple versus Logouri complexe

Am asistat acum ceva vreme la o discutie pe forumurile Digital Point, destul de aprinsa, legata de cum ar trebui sa arate un logo modern: simplu si la obiect, sau complex si eye-catchy. Argumentul “simplistilor” era ca marile firme (vezi Nike, Adidas, McDonalds, etc) au logo-uri simple, dar care “iti intra bine in cap”, iar daca firmele respective, care sunt market leaders, au asa logo-uri, atunci musai regula e ca toate logo-urile trebuie sa fie minimale si monocolore.

Un contra-argument al “complexistilor” ar fi ca firmele respective, care au inceput campaniile de branding inca din anii 60-70, nu aveau alta alternative atunci decat cea a unui logo simplu. Atunci nu existau photoshoape, illustratoare, nu exista conceptul de pixel sau vector iar scalabilitatea logo-urilor era o problema, mai ales daca faceai ceva mai complex. Nu simplitatea logourilor le face sa fie memorabile neaparat, ci faptul ca au o varsta, au fost promovate consecvent si sunt stampilate pe firme de succes.   More…
